CLINFIELD was a full branding exercise carried out with Carl Shuck and Fergus Partridge. This brand name was primarily for a nurse-based clinical research business. Other aspects such as education and accreditation made this a relatively complex exercise.

The abbreviated descriptive name derives from ‘the clincial field’, clinical being descriptive and field referring both to the field as a ‘sphere of activity’ and a lush and productive location. The colour suggested by field lent itself to the soft green shades that are reflective of life preservation. The clever design is both a pipette and pill, possibly a drop of life-sustaining medicine and has echoes of a bud-like surge of life.

The CLINFIELD brand name was given primary trademark clearance for European use with no negative meanings or similarity to other names in the same field.
